Looking at the Disney young actors/actress, wondering how they can be so confident and eloquent. In this course, students will overcome their fear of speaking in public, and learn how to make their ideas convincing and compelling.

Students will learn 

  • skills to make the speech impressive
  • to organize their ideas to form better speeches
  • to practice steps to improve confidence to overcome fears
  • to develop powerful social communication habits ​
  • and much more!

    College Professor, Federal Government Senior Executive Officer

    Mary Bauer is a college professor who also enjoys working with younger students. She is an adjunct professor of writing, business communication (a course that culminates in a Shark Tank competition!), and English at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She previously taught literature, writing,
    Catholic studies and French at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut and continues to teach some courses remotely for this institution.

    Mary’s work with younger children includes conducting a “Kids Choir” for Big Brother Big Sister and coaching students in research and public speaking skills at a summer camp for Capitol Debate. She also teaches business communication to high school students under a dual enrollment program with Aquinas College.

    A retired federal government senior executive officer, Mary has briefed Cabinet officials and Congressional committees. She has extensive experience in leadership development and improving
    organizational communication.

    She was awarded an Academics for Creative Teaching Grant for the academic year 2016-17 and a Mini-Grant for the 2019-2020 academic year.

    • No refund; notice us less than 3 days before the start of the online camp session. 

    • If an online class cancellation is made by Champion Camp due to low enrollment, there will be a full refund for tuition. Any class cancellation will be announced at least 7 days before the session starts.
