With the support of ScratchJr technology, a game design that only demands drag and drop will work great for K-G2 students to understand the concept of programming. This course will be engaging and with structured exercises, to teach step-by-step game development.

What is Scratch Jr: ScratchJr is a collaboration between the DevTech Research Group at Tufts University, the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab, and the Playful Invention Company.

Students will learn:

  • ScratchJr Skills to build animated games
  • program characters and create a background
  • sound recording
  • edit color themes
  • present their games
  • ...
