Course Projects

Project 2: Designing a simple character in the style of newspaper comics or loony tunes

Project 6: Designing nature-related scenery for one of your previously designed characters

Project 9: Creating a backstory to a new character or one of the previous ones.

 

 

 

Materials

*Prepare your own materials

  • HB pencil/ regular #2 pencil (Quantity: at least 2)

  • 2H pencil (Quantity:1)

  • Pencil sharpener

  • 8.5 x 11 inch printer paper (at least 48 sheets, or four for each class)

  • Staedtler Mars Plastic eraser (Quantity:1)

I have also produced many comics, illustrations, and prose stories that have been self-published. I earned a BFA in Cartooning from the School of Visual Arts and a BS in Biology from the City University of New York.
